I think what you posted was actually very reasonable. But, what about this? what if you added a little content? I am not saying your content isn't good, however suppose you added a title that makes people want more? I mean is kinda plain. You could peek at Yahoo's home page and watch how they create post titles to grab people to click. You might try adding a video or a pic or two to grab people interested about what you've written. Just my opinion, it could bring your website a little livelier.
